Mike Ramkey

         Lead Vocals

Mike was born on December 15, 1959 and has always lived in Chesterfield County, VA.  Mike married Tina, his high school sweetheart in 1979, and they have 3 children Kari, Jessica, & Bret.  A long time employee of Ukrop’s Super Markets, Inc., he now works as a sales rep for a produce shipping and brokerage company. 

As a child Mike was a member of a field drum team for a majorette and drum corp.  Always interested in music, he was a member of Chesterfield’s All-County chorus in the sixth grade and in his church’s choir all throughout his youth.  Mike always had a dream as a kid to be a singer but was too afraid of singing solo in front of a live audience.

            Mike received his first guitar as a Christmas present from his wife when he was 26, and started playing with a couple of friends from work.  At 38, he was persuaded to play and sing at a company event that 500 people attended.  This was his solo singing debut.  Mike had always loved to sing but had never known the rush you get from performing in front of a live audience.  This is what started it all and as they say the rest is history……….
